The Role


The Role


Within the regional team, the analyst shall be responsible for the quantitative analysis of projects, based on physical development and financial criteria. For each project, this will involve from simple back-of-the-envelop screening of development opportunities, to iterative ex-ante feasibility analyses and ex-post valuations, supporting the Associate in the preparation of project budgets, schedules and V0 - V6 business plans.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES & KPIs
• Preparation of project budgets, schedules and business plans
• Project financial analysis including cash flows, phasing, sensitivity, funding, tax analysis
• Review of opportunities and preparation of deal summaries
• Integration of business plans with financial management systems
• Coordinate procedures and production of accurate input data
• Standardizing and upgrading financial models
• Preparation of monthly project updates covering financial feasibility, project schedule and risk management aspects
• Managing and preparing and reviewing financial reports

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
• Work experience in financial analysis (2 to 3 years).
• Background in real estate development or investment analysis is a bonus

Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related financial field.
• Graduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred

Knowledge and Skills
• Facile with numbers and has excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have the full capability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, together with technical and legal documents in English language, knowledge of Arabic language is advantage
• High level of capability to work with mathematical and financial concepts, apply them and their proportions to practical situations
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
