The RoleThe RoleAn Application Architect is required by my client a leading Global Financial Services Company to play a fundamental role in a large regional IT programme. You will take responsible of the definition of functional and technical architecture for the regional organization, and lead solution evaluation and selection, as well as leading the detailed system design, development of non functional requirements and provide ongoing support throughout the implementation of the programme ensuring that the integrity of design principles are maintained. |
RequirementsRequirementsFor this position you must have the following Skills and Experience: Extensive experience (min 10 years) in a Technology / IT functions in a recognized international organisation. Financial services industry and Middle East experience highly desirable. Five to eight years experience in defining technology strategy, architecture and software development Ability to develop a longer term strategic view aligning the technology strategy with business strategy and other needs Ability to work closely with business teams to align new technologies and trends, identifying new opportunities for the organization arising from technology trends. Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks with a knowledge of TOGAF / Zachman Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and string Java programming background. Ability to lead/facilitate workshops/detailed design reviews and derive and document detailed design documentation Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with both, business and technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization Experience of working with multiple solution partners and systems integrators Experience to work in diverse, multi-cultural environments and to deal with ambiguity and changing/evolving requirements Ability to facilitate effective team interaction and team building Knowledge of PMBOK beneficial This is an excellent opportunity to join a global financial services player, working in the heart of the Dubais financial district. |
