Job description / Role
The Application Engineer will be responsible for chemical treatment deployment as well as dosage determination & adjustment and
corrosion monitoring
Main Responsibilities
•Chemical tank check, refilling and mixing
•Chemical dosage calculating, injection pumps checking, monitoring and adjusting
•Probe measurement, pulling out, replacing and input collected data in corrosion management the database.
•Coupons pulling out and replacing, visual inspection making and recording, cleaning, weighting, and input data in the database
•Water sampling and lab analysis running
•Safety observation card raising (average of two /month)
•Uses proper PPE and adequate procedures
•Drive in respect of the customer and Nalco Safe driving policies
•Attend to the weekly HSE meeting
•Raising initial work order for corrective maintenance
Requirements
Qualifications / Skills
•Minimum 3 to 5 years work on oil/gas field with a good understanding of the production process
•Basic knowledge of the corrosion monitoring and control
•Good command of English language
