Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

My client a large conglomerate is looking to hire an Applications engineer with good understanding of Linux, SaaS, Java.

- This role works closely with engineering & operations team.
- The role will require design initiative, group collaboration, enthusiasm & solid Linux systems experience.

This role is based out of Kuwait & is paying an attractive package with good benefits.

Requirements

- Experience managing & supporting systems in a SaaS / Cloud based infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with Linux based operating system & knowledge of Windows based OS's
- Knowledge of & experience with Java / Hadoop / Oracle / MySQL.
- Experience with scripting languages.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Solarwind, Nagios & NewRelic
