The RoleThe RoleNalco have an opening for an Application Engineer in our Energy Services Division located in Iraq. The Application Engineer will be an Iraqi National and will primarily be responsible for providing contractual services and to assist customers with problem solving support regarding their products and applications and to provide solutions. Other Responsibilities include: • Openness to be based in the Gulf or North Africa for one year with Nalco to undergo training • Flexibility to travel outside of Iraq on regular training courses • Provide on-site field service and / or on-site assistance • Conduct site surveys, product / application / system audits • Direction, training and motivation of a supporting staff and ensure implementation of the Six Service Standards at all client sites • In addition, this position may be required to provide sole account and relationship management for assigned accounts • Travel within assigned region required |
RequirementsRequirementsThe desired candidate will have professional experience to include: • Bachelor's Degree in a technical area preferred: Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environment Engineering or similar • Chemical knowledge required • Iraqi Nationality is a must • Fluent English and Arabic language • Proactive personality • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self organized and acting independently • A current, valid driving license Key skills: • Aptitude to communicate in a clear and concise manner • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients • A meticulous and keen eye for detail |
