The RoleThe RoleOur client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Application Engineer to their UAE team. Our employer seeks a proven performer to assist on their main projects in the region, which include the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, safe city and border protection. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will support a large, complex system comprised of various sensor technologies, into secured command and control applications. You will be responsible for: Understand the system requirements; prioritisation of working requirements; optimise system deployments to meet system requirements, and communicate issues to system engineering and development teams Direct involvement with the client as an application subject expert Involvement in both laboratory and customer site activities at the customer facilities |
RequirementsRequirementsEssential attributes include: Degree qualified in Engineering / Computer Science or related field Minimum 5 10 years experience in the integration and deployment of large-scale SW systems Hands-on experience with application configuration, deployment, setup, integration and testing experience Experience with software systems integration, end-to-end testing including installation, system-wide parameters setup validation and field acceptance testing Excellent troubleshooting skills (analyse system failures, isolate faults, determine root cause) are essential Good understanding of design and system overview Familiar with deployment, configuration and troubleshooting IP cameras Previous experience with video analysis tools is highly regarded Understanding of Windows server configuration and deployment, knowledge in DB applications (SQL) and experience with network configuration would be highly regarded Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential Excellent English verbal, reading and writing skills are essential A competitive salary package will be provided to attract top candidates to the role. |
