Application Support Specialist - Banking - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Salary / Package TBC - ITIL

Our client who are a significant member of the Middle Eastern banking community have asked us to assist in the hire of a SigCap Application Support Specialist.

Our client are in the process of forming a new department as 1st Line Support. They are seeking a SigCap Application Support to work on site to help in solving and closing application issues. The ideal candidate will need at least 2 years or more of technical experience gained in working on different application systems. Candidates will need to have development skills with experience supporting various applications.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in solution activities and documenting related issues of SigCap
- Work we needed with 2nd Line support to understated new changes.
- Work closely with network, communication, middleware, end user support, DB admin, Security and technical/production support.
- Implementation and configuration of change requests by developers.

Requirements

Personal Profile:
- Qualifications: A graduate degree in Computers or related subject.
- Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in SigCap as plus or various application systems.
- Individual is driven by desire to know more about things, people or events.
- Communication Skills: Expresses messages, both orally and in writing, in an effective, organized way, which is appropriate to the audience being addressed.
- Teamwork: Knows how to work in a team and/or across teams, acts bearing common interests and respect for fellow team members.
- Documentation: Works in line with banks Change Management policies and prepare technical documentations based on banks SDLC policies.
- Must be ready to learn new technologies and work on other systems available in the bank

Skills and Experience:
- Hands on working experience on SigCap preferred / various application systems.
- Knowledge on supporting windows technologies, , directory services and basic information of security is required
- Good understanding of MQSeries.
- Good command of SQL using Oracle databases.
- Good technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good in Microsoft Windows knowledge.
- Capable of recommending on fine tuning if needed.
- Strong PC skills especially on MS Office.
- Good in XML writing/reading also in MQ an added advantage
- Unix knowledge is plus.
