-Evaluate customer requirements, specifications and other pertinent data.
-Assure proposed equipment meets technical and performance requirements.
-Prepare proposals using available information in PROS for standard products.
-Obtain cost estimates when product cannot be priced from PROS and prepare the proposal accordingly.
-Prepare proposals for Upgrades & Repairs by consulting with the Technical Service Engineers.
-Provide technical support to our customer to insure proper pump system selection and successful operation of our products and assist in training customers as needed.
-Review customer orders to insure they are acceptable relative to commercial terms, price, and delivery.
-Work closely with Sales to facilitate the sales effort and assist sales team in provide products and technical information
-Cooperate / Interact with all departments to execute customer orders, support the order process and assure on-time delivery of pump orders and meet customer requirements.
-Responsible for the close tolerance measurement of rotating equipment for pump upgrades and retrofits.
-Assist in developing new methods of solving problems and modifying existing pump designs to meet customer needs and improve pump life.
-Examine failed products, providing written and oral explanations to customer and assist with start-ups and troubleshooting as needed.
-Understand and implement corporate policy to achieve both customer and company goals.
-Participate in pre- and post- award meetings.Use Vision-Net to log and update Inquiries.
-Bachelorís degree in Mechanical Engineering and or combination of education and experience
-Some experience with Pumps, mechanical pumps, compressor pumps, and a working knowledge of the
-Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
-Good communication skills
-Excellent PC skills including AutoCAD knowledge, Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point, Oracle base program
-Excellent organization and prioritization skills
-Commensurate rotating experience will be considered.
