Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Applications Security Manager - $80,000

Main Scope and Job Responsibilities

•Perform system / security administration and reviews for Banking systems, while monitoring and complying with systems licensing limits. Take corrective / preventive actions as required.
•Produce, review, and store security logs / screen recordings for applicable systems.
•Maintain user access requests and other related forms and documentation.
•Coordinate with IT & users for SCR / patch implementation and testing and provide the required assistance and security assessment.
•Provide for Audit requirements.
•Set up the security configurations and parameters of the new Banking systems during the implementation.
•Provide support for system access issues during recovery exercises and invocations.
•Keep up to date with developments in Information Security standards and industry best practices, and assist in implementing them.
•Provide information security related support on systems / applications.
•Assist in maintenance / review of Information Security GIBMAN and communicate these to Bank staff.
•Record, resolve and follow-up on discovered and reported information security incidents.
•Assist in troubleshooting and solutions finding issues (e.g. Spam, Phishing, viruses).
•Maintain a high standard of confidentiality, appearance, safety, support and security at all times.
•Monitor and handle InfoSec related Wire issues and assign them to appropriate staff.
•Pursue any other work related activities as directed by the line supervisors, and assist other Information Security members as required.
•Share on-call Rota activities with other Information Security staff.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements

•Degree in IT / Information Security / related discipline or equivalent, with 3 years experience in Information Security / Technology.
•Preferably an Information Security related professional certificate, like CISSP or CISM.
•Knowledge of Banking systems, Web applications, channels, and ATMs / Kiosks security issues and controls.
•Preferably a working knowledge of PCI-DSS standard and Social Media risks mitigation.
