Job description / Role
Reporting to the Applications System Manager, an Applications Systems Officer's main role is to achieve Department objectives and company goals in a timely and efficient manner
The Role:
* To create and implement standards and guidelines for operations.
* To support daily operations and help application team to resolve technical issues.
* To provide functionality and technical support to the G.O.L.D application system with the objective of ensuring that user requests on G.O.L.D functionalities are serviced on time and that a high level of data integrity is maintained at all times.
Requirements
* Degree in IT/Computer Science
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in Supply Chain Management
* Hands-on experience in Warehouse Replenishment, Stock management, Supplier Returns etc
* Retail operations experience like store receiving, sales, promotion/catalogue management, recipe management, stock adjustments, stock transfers, stock take (inventory) etc
* Must have experience on Pro C
*, xml, scripting, Unix/Linux is a must
* Database Oracle 10g knowledge a must
* G.O.L.D E-retail is a plus
* Knowledge of Java is a plus
* Knowledge of Point of Sales is a plus
* Knowledge of any WMS system is a plus
* Knowledge about Oracle Finance is a plus
* Conceptual knowhow regarding Data warehouse
* Knowledge about ETL process (BOOMI) is a plus
