Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapist

Job description / Role

- Utilize and implement Applied Behavioral Analysis and Discrete Trial Therapy related to students as per assigned cases.
- Becomes fluent in the understanding of the Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia (ACE) reports and programs.
- Implements Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of the behavior analysts /consultant.
- Teaches the clients to acquire language, academic, self-help, and social skills as stated in the ITPs.
- Assists students, as needed, to acquire academic and appropriate life skills. This may include toilet training, eating, and other self-help skills.

Requirements

- Writes progress reports, and other requested written assignments related to the clients.
- Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, therapist, trainers, therapists and clients.
- Observes records, and reports the condition and behavior of the clients, including maintaining daily records during the day.
- Openly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessary.
- Participation and attendance to client clinic team meetings (which includes taking detailed clinic meeting minutes/notes).
