Our Dubai location positions us in a still growing market at the hub of business in the northern hemisphere with a client base operating in more than 15 countries across the Middle East, Europe, the Sub Continent and Asia. Our offerings include every aspect of communications, advertising and marketing in traditional and new media formats.We are currently looking for an experienced Arabic Copywriter to conceive, conceptualise and develop creative strategies for all clients of the company. Your duties will include the following: * Supervise the production of outstanding communication through the appropriate selection of voices for specific radio spots targetting specified target audiences, while keeping a given brand's character in mind; * Create original concepts targeted to Arab audiences, in a manner that will concise the communication to understanding levels specified by the brand and the particular communication produced for it; * Interact with client servicing executives to take briefs and to make creative presentations; * Be able to translate marketing collateral from English into Arabic and vice versa; * Extensive proofreading abilities. |
RequirementsRequirementsAn Arabic Copywriter is, in essence, a conceptualizer of advertising ideas in the Arabic medium. The job requires the Arabic Copywriter to be conversant with the most current trends in Arabic writing, the sensitivities of Arab culture and local traditions, the nuances of thousands of Arabic idioms and their derivatives, and most importantly, the finesse to employ the best of his learning to enrich the characters of the hundreds of brands under the Al-Futtaim umbrella, through a variety of mediums. The job also requires the person to have extensive experience in his speciality, not only to be able to write the most effective copy for advertising material, but also to be able to: To do this role you must be: *Fully acquainted with Arabic sentence construction, punctuation, paragraphing and all other aspects of the Arabic language *Able to understand the elements required to fulfill work in radio production and television e.g. voice selection, music selection, choosing models, props, etc *Capable of formulating a strategy to be followed towards the goal of an advertising solution and proceed to write the copy in order to create advertising in line with the client's brief and requirement. *Confident in presenting to both internal and external clients and colleagues *Clear in both your written and spoken communications skills *Able to answer queries and questions from clients You will have experience as a Copywriter of at least 5 years. Agency experience is an added advantage. You will be proficient in the use of the Arabic language, spoken and written. A demonstration of your work (portfolio) will be requested during interview stage. Samples of your work will be required if shortlisted for an interview.
