Arabic Copywriter (Saudi National)

We are currently searching for our clients perfect match when it comes to a full-time Creative Copywriter. You’ll be based at our offices in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia reporting to the Brand Communication Manager in Dubai, UAE.

Your mission (if you choose to accept it) is to convert written material from the source language: English into the target language: Standard Arabic. Ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible keeping within the brands tone of voice.

You’ll need to ensure that the text is culturally and linguistically adapted to suit Arabic speakers across the MENA region, as they are currently expanding rapidly.

What we’ll ask you to do:
• Write and develop a brand translation dictionary to ensure brand consistency across MENA.
• The translation of both internal and external communication tools including all marketing materials, guides, training manuals, websites and social media.
• Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.
• Liaising with the teams to ensure full understanding before translating into Arabic.
• Proofreading and editing final translated versions based on feedback from the region.
• Prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
• From time to time, you’ll be asked to translate ‘live’ in training sessions/meetings.

Requirements

What we think you’ll need:
• Demonstrate the ability to creatively work in the company way to translate from English to Arabic.
• Ability to work on a number of projects at any given time.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn about all the company product ranges and apply it in your work.
• Passion for writing.
• Exceptional project management skills
