Job description / Role
A well –established firm in the UAE specializing in automotive aftermarket business is looking to recruit a senior marketing professional to develop their business in the Tires segment within the ME&A and CIS regions.
The key purpose of this role is to identify profitable business and partnership opportunities and build relationships and alliances that increase revenue opportunities as well as to strengthen the Company's market position
Requirements
• Develop and implement a high level strategy and long term strategic plan on how to grow the business through partnerships, alliances and new business opportunities
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities locally and regionally or new revenue channels and lead business development initiatives
• Identify and recommend business development opportunities in regions that are recognised as “key growth regions” for the business
• Identify and build new strategic alliances and partnerships that will help the Company to achieve its long terms strategic objectives
• Manage and maintain existing relationships with partners
• Develop and implement departmental budgets and provide supporting evidence to explain budget variances
• Work closely with all departments to translate strategic plan into annual Business Plan / departmental plans
• Liaise with Sales and Finance to develop and implement pricing strategy
• Identify and actively pursue opportunities for new client acquisition and / or expand existing client relationships
• Work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to identify and evaluate new suppliers
• Negotiate fixed buying price and contractual terms with suppliers
• Keep abreast of external economic conditions affecting business activity such as industry trends and competition
• Produce and present regular management reports on business performance and opportunities
To be considered for this role:
• You must have a Business Administration or Marketing Degree
• Strong Communication skills both written and verbal in English and Arabic
• Extensive experience in the Tires business and knowledge of the automotive aftermarket sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Minimum 8 years of experience in business development and at least 4 years in people management.
• Working knowledge in regional and international wholesale/trading markets
• A results oriented strategic thinker with business acumen, leadership and organizational skills
