Employment: Full Time

Salary: AED 15,000 – 20,000 Gross + Ticket & Medical Insurance.

Our client is a leading multinational financial organization and UK's largest retail forex provider. Since business is booming, they are looking to recruit a Content Manager.

The purpose of this role is to write engaging content across the company’s local website including localization of the UK website into Arabic and ultimately be responsible for the Dubai-based website.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for the localization of the company website. This includes translating content from the English website into Arabic and insuring the website is developed with any cultural nuances factored in.
• Writing compelling content in English and Arabic for all aspects of the local website, including both full-page copy and headline banners/promotional segments, as well as for other departments within the company, and for selected third parties (e.g. copy for a partner website).
• Editing and reworking copy for websites including but not limited to analyst reports and promotional banners.
• Uploading said copy when and where appropriate, and sourcing/resizing supporting images.
• Assisting in building and testing new website pages and areas.
• Updating the websites with new statistics and information.
• Periodically auditing the company’s website for instances of identified change.
• Thoroughly proofreading all the above materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency of company’s house style and digital brand guidelines and tone-of-voice in English and Arabic.
• Being a custodian for all online copy and content of the local company websites.

Requirements

Essential Skills the required candidate should possess:

• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Very good writing and editing skills, specifically for the web
• An ability to write to the brief provided, within the company’s website guidelines
• An ability to articulate thoughts clearly, take advice and deal with negative feedback
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment, working to tight deadlines and adapting to change
• A desire to understand and learn about our business and industry
• A appreciation and interest in the long term running and success of websites
• Computer literate and comfortable with online content management
• Able and willing communicator
• Confident working with arithmetic/number examples

To be a part of this continuously growing organization, you will a minimum of two years’ writing experience within the financial sector, a degree with a GPA of 2:2 or above and experience working with a content management system. You will have to be self-motivated, well-organised and efficient, have a genuine enthusiasm towards problem-solving and must be eager to learn.
