Arabic Speaking Internal Auditor

Job description / Role

Our client, a leading marketer of medical equipment and supplies in ME & Africa seek to fill an Internal Auditor role in their Head Office in Saudi Arabia.

As the Internal Auditor, your objective will be to conduct and assist in carrying out Internal Audits and investigations that will provide reasonable assurance to Executive Management, the Board and the Audit Committee regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of the risk management and control framework operating within the business. To improve the control environment and processes through agreeing viable recommendations with the business and ensuring implementation through follow up on progress.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Develop and disseminate HR strategic objectives and policies for recruitment, development and compensation & performance management.
• Carry out audits by assessing controls and analysing data and drawing conclusions about the adequacy of these controls.
• Compile Audit Planning Memos, Working Papers, Schedules of Preliminary Findings, Draft and Final Reports within the timescales agreed upon.
• Set short term objectives for each assignment, allocate resources, monitor and review progress against targets.
• Undertake Relationship Management, ensuring that the business areas are kept informed of any arising audit issues.
• Assisting in planning of audit program in line as per the guidelines from the management.
• Finalisation and submission of audit reports along with annexure and analysis to Head – Internal Audit.
• Coordinating with HODs for reply of audit report and monthly reporting work in progress.
• Handling Special / Specific audit assignments.
• Preparation of audit presentations for periodic reviews by the Management.
• Adhering to the established audit methodologies and procedures for conduct of audit.
• Contribute for improving and sustaining the quality and effectiveness of overall audit work.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA / CIA with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience and 3-5 years extensive experience in conducting and assisting in carrying out Internal Audits (IT and Non IT) in either a Trading or a Manufacturing company. Candidates who have conducted Internal Audit in a SAP environment will be preferred.
