Job description / Role
We are looking for a young Arabic speaking lady interested to work with kids and teach them Arabic in a fun way. Classes are taught 5 days a week and the individual needs to be comfortable working with kids aged 1 - 5 years of age.
The candidate needs to speak Fluent in Arabic and English. Work timings between 9am - 6pm
Job Responsibilities include:
- Group supervision of students with attention to all of the following: program, happiness, safety and skill development.
- Lead all teaching activities and help students carry out projects and activities based on weekly curriculum.
- Translating Curriculum from English to Arabic.
- Encourage student participation.
- Exhibit personal habits, health, dress and speech that serve as a beneficial model to students.
- Work with the Director of Operations to iron out difficulties with facilities, programs and students.
- Set up and clean up of class materials.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
- Prepping materials for class activities.
Requirements
- Completed a college degree
- Ability to work as a team member with other teachers and staff members.
- Experience working with children in a group setting.
- Experience teaching assigned class subject (e.g. story telling, art, science, cooking, dance etc.).
- Responsible, friendly, enthusiastic, patient and willing to learn.
- Strong customer service skills.
