Arabic Translation Executives - eCommerce (x2) - Retail Divisional Office, Dubai

Al-Futtaim's Retail Division holds a stable of world class brands operating in buoyant markets with huge growth prospects. Some of our brands are Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, and IKEA as well as Robinsons with a range of smaller brands selected for their appeal to the markets in which we operate. We currently operate our Retail outlets across the Middle East and in South East Asia.

We have enjoyed phenomenal success throughout the UAE, Egypt and GCC countries. We are in the final stages of outline planning for massive growth and need to prepare for the next phase of this program.

We are currently looking for a Arabic Translation Executive to join our eCommerce team. In this role you will be responsible for role for Arabic Translation within eCommerce Retail and to create Arabic translation of the English content and digital assets meta data for all online Retails Brands.

Key Accountabilities:
- Translate written material from English 'source languages' into Arabic 'target language', ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible.
- Ensure consistency of translation within documents and aid efficiency using Translation Memory software - such as Wordfast, memoQ, across, SDL Trados, Transit NXT
- Create content translation documents on M-Files (Document Management System).
- Translate Meta Data of Digital Assets.
- Translate English script of product review or providing supplying subtitles as communicated by the LM.

Requirements

- Fluency in English and Arabic languages
- Degree / Diploma in translation
- Minimum of 3 years of English Arabic translation experience within organization or as a freelancer
- Proficient in English language
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills and attention to details
- Flexibility and willingness to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment
