Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Up to Dhs 22,000 depending on experience

On behalf of our client, a leading French food products company, we are recruiting Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers who will be responsible for managing the retail activity within the GCC.

For this role you will be responsible for the following areas:
•Management of a team of 15 staff including Area managers, Sales Executives, Sales Coordinators & Merchandisers.
•Setting up and implementation of the strategy in different countries concerned and ensuring achievement of sales as per budget agreed with export manager.
•Forecasting and analysing the sales.
•Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing customers in GCC markets.
•Keeping deep knowledge of the A & B class supermarkets in GCC and expertise in management of distributors.
•Prepare and present a monthly business review to Regional Sales Manager.
•Controlling the trade visibility.

Requirements

• In order to be considered for this role, you must hold a minimum of a degree in sales and / or marketing or a similar relevant degree or higher.
• You must have a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably within a managerial role, within retail sales and marketing in the FMCG industry within the region.
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office is required; SAGE knowledge a plus but not essential.
• Extensive knowledge of FMCG essential.
• You must be customer and detail oriented and very well organised.
• Excellent influencing skills essential as are top notch communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior managerial experience absolutely essential.
• Arabic speakers preferred; French speakers also at an advantage.
