Job description / Role

A Leading consultancy in the middle east are currently looking for a number of architects due the expansion of the design team. Currently seeking architects.

Job Description:
- Leads planning and design efforts for planning and urban design projects, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Project Management - leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary team of designers, planners, engineers.
- Team leadership - leading team of planners, architects, landscape architects, designers and other support staff, mentoring.
- Planning and Design - initiating and developing master plans from concept to detailed design.
- Client Liaison.
- Admin Management - project related management and discipline related department management including proposal writing, reporting, and financial management.
- Business Development - identifying opportunities and developing strategies for new business activities.

Requirements

- Degree in Architecture from an international reputable university.
- 5+ years of relevant experience - must be airports
- Demonstrable experience in architectural design of multi-use projects including signature structures and urban design of large scale developments.
- Competencies adapting and responding to change, relating and networking, team work, planning and organizing.
- Design Skills strong design skills, graphic capabilities, ability to work with design-based software such as Photoshop, CAD, and Sketch-up, 3D Max, REVIT, etc.
- Freehand graphic skills in both 2D and 3D.

Specific Skills:
- Community planning and design, Mixed-Use Urban Design.
- Open Space Planning and Design.
- Sustainability Planning and Design.
- Ability to initiate projects form concept design through to detailed design, documentation, specification writing.
- Experience with implementing projects including site experience.
- Project/Design Management and sub-consultant management.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration.
- Strategic Leadership.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Project Experience: Variety of Architectural, master planning and urban design projects, mixed-use, single and multi-family housing.
- Experience of working in collaborative and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Good report writing skills.
- Good presentation skills (oral and written).
