Architect Design Technician

Job description / Role

Architect Design Technician, Middle East

- Develop design solutions and drafting of preliminary construction drawings using Revit
- Participate in review and analysis of tender material to estimate constructability
- Complete cost and preliminary quantity estimates for various works
- Participate in preparing quotes for tenders
- Prepare and submit correspondence, inquiries and request for information
- Conduct inspection of all the works and activities at site
- Ensure all the activities and works are in accordance with the approved construction drawings
- Prepare shop drawings and as built drawings for submittals
- Communicating with the clients and contractors throughout the project

Requirements

- A qualification in Architecture and Design
- At least two years of experience in commercial projects
- Able to produce detailed drawings and design calculations
- Knowledge and understanding of construction process
- Excellent skills in AutoCAD, preferably Revit
- Able to prioritise, plan workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a small team as well as independently
- Willingness to ?travel? throughout Middle East
