Job description / Role
Our client is a global leader in architecture and interior design, founded in Asia they have grown and developed in a number of international locations from Hong Kong to the Middle East.
They are currently looking to expand and develop on their ever growing business, dealing with a variety of contemporary, dynamic and unique projects. They specialise within the hospitality and commercial sectors consistently working with only the top developers and operators in the market. Due to their extensive success, which has come from their creative design ability and the understanding of the clients needs and requirements, they have developed a portfolio of fantastic projects from around the world.
As a result of the development of the architectural team, my client is looking for a fresh, innovative architect ready to take on a new challenge`s working on various different projects from high rise towers, mixed use developments, five star hotels and luxury villas. The architect will be passionate with the ability to create contemporary concepts and the ambition to work for one of the Middle Easts leading international design and architecture businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural design from concept through to final design documentation.
- Research design materials and design concepts from sources.
- Prepare sketch designs including perspectives, material selections etc.
- Visit the project site to take site measurements, digital photographs and investigate the area.
- Present the design concept to the client with the project director.
- Conduct design review and evaluation with the design team
- Coordinate architectural design with other consultants including engineers.
- Coordinate with technician team to provide sufficient details for production of working drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture.
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in architecture.
- Some experience of international projects is a benefit however not essential.
- Experience in design concept from start to finish.
- Ability to use REVIT is a must.
- Ability to use PC, CAD and Sketchup.
- Experience with Rhino would be a benefit.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Design talent.
- Hard working.
- Ability to work as a team.
