The RoleThe Role Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, or construction time. Apply advanced Architectural knowledge and skills to develop design concept ensuring that all aspects are technically sound and compatible with brief. Provide supervision and guidance on all design and technical matters. Review and resolve interdisciplinary design and technical issues to ensure the most effective and efficient design is adopted Develops solutions to complex design problems using initiative and own acquired knowledge Works in the construction industry designing new buildings and the spaces around them, working closely with the project managers, the owner, clients & sub-contractors to make sure that projected designs match the needs of these groups. Works on new buildings or groups of buildings in the regeneration of an area, design alterations to existing buildings, or advise on the restoration & conservation of old properties. Involve from the earliest stages of a building project, from site selection, right through to completion. |
RequirementsRequirements Minimum seven (7) years of verifiable experience A leader, a team player and a resourceful and very organized person Proficient in managing and directing people Excellent customer service skills Able to create and sell creative ideas & concepts Ability to manage design works for large scale projects Good AutoCAD, MS Office & MS Project skills Strong time, resources & quality management skills Solid experience in coordinating technical efforts of various disciplines Solid experience in technical documentation Must be willing to travel from project to project Willing to relocate in Kabul, Afghanistan |
