The Role


The Role

Required experience
1. Ensure response to necessary construction documentation, including but not limited to review of contractor shop drawings, RFI’s, material submittals and shop drawings, etc.
2. Manage the efforts of the inspectors to ensure all documentation that is reviewed is than properly translated into a constructed product which meets requirements and specifications.
3. Hands on in monitoring the interior architectural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
4. Reviewing, and processing all interior shop drawings and architectural technical submittals.
5. Participate in discussions to identify design requirements and give professional advice.
6. Lead the coordination process with other disciplines for all clinical spaces specially the coordination with Medical equipment suppliers.
7. Reviewing contractor’s interior architectural change order proposals and preparing recommendations to Architectural PM.
8. Review and inspection of materials and suppliers to ensure required standards.
9. Visit manufactures/suppliers to ensure quality will be achieved.
10. Inspect materials delivered on site for quality and compliance with specification.
11. Monitor [sub] contractor’s performance in relation to acceptable standards. .
12. Reviewing contractors claims related to interior architectural works and preparing technical recommendations for claims to Architectural PM.
13. Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the interior architectural works.

Requirements


Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, or relevant field.

Skills
1. At least 10 years experience, 5 years in similar fields..
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Decisive and able to give the correct decisions at the right time.
4. Knowledge of Specifications, reading, drawings, contract administration, FIDIC contract procedures.
5. English written and speaking.
6. Computer knowledge.
