Architect

Job description / Role

1. Draw and establish concept design, schematic design, detailed design, tender documentation, specifications and follow up.
2. Coordinate with structural, electrical engineers, QS and other specialists to finalize drawings.
3. Coordinate with Senior Architects and Architectural technician to achieve excellent design quality and documentation.
4. Report to superior on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality, resources, changes etc.
5. Review of the contractor’s design documents and making recommendations based on the project requirements.
6. Attending and constructively contributing to design and construction coordination meetings.
7. Coordinating with site support staff to achieve pre and post project objectives.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience within the design consultancy environment.
3. Knowledge of the planning and technical issues affecting functional area sizing and layouts of drawings and projects.
4. Must be proficient in the use of Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, PhotoShop, Architectural Desktop and other programs required for design and drafting.
5. Previous experience gained within a Consultancy Firm and within the Gulf Region would be preferred.
6. Excellent communication and time management skills.
