Salary AED 35000-45000

A leading firm in Dubai is looking to hire an experienced Architect for one of their Prestigious project in UAE.

The incumbent will be responsible for on-site architect for developing large hotel project in Dubai.Planning and conducting work requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

- Assist in establishing the project design criteria.
- Assist in developing project man-hours and planning schedule for the project.
- Produce design work according to established standards, methods, and procedures.
- Produce work involving a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements with technical guidance from the Project Design Manager.
- Develops, modifies, and reviews production drawings and construction documents.
- Corrects and updates documents.
- Develops solutions to technical problems.
- Development of design presentation drawings and documents.
- Development of design phase deliverables.
- Development of submittal documents to local authorities.
- Assist the team in responding to construction phase RFI and design clarification.
- Assist with Project Design Manager and Project Manager tasks as required.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of the detailed phases of a design project.
- Coordinate architectural design documents with other disciplines to ensure incorporation of all design requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Through research, study, and consultation with outside consultants and professional societies, keep informed of new developments and systems related to the field of architectural practice and design.
- Participate in proposal development, as required.

Requirements

- Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in his career with five years in UAE

- Excellent knowledge of putting together construction drawing sets, autocad, photoshop, sketchUp and strong 3D max skills

- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods as well as interior detailing and familiarity with all applicable codes required.
