Job description / Role
We are currently seeking detail oriented and focused intermediate to senior level Architectural Technologists for 9 to 12 month assignments in Doha, Qatar. Working under the supervision of the Design Manager, you will perform a variety of production tasks to prepare the documents needed to take a building from original concept to completion. You will contribute to the accuracy, quality, completeness and schedule of finished drawing packages through coordination with team members and consultants.
Key Functions & Duties
• Develop and prepare Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications
• Develop and prepare Contract Documents (CD) and specifications
• Assist the with contract administration
• Prepare graphics and presentation drawings
• Assist in the coordination of consultants
• Assist in the performance of Quality Control procedures
• Research and compile construction materials
• Assist in the printing, assembly, circulation, and filing of project documents
• Assist with general DD and CD duties
Requirements
• Technical Diploma in Architectural Technology coupled with 4 to 10 years of experience in DD and CD acquired in an architectural office
• Fluent in English is required; Fluency in Arabic is considered an asset
• Demonstrated experience with state of the art BIM; Revit and AutoCAD experience is a must
• Experienced team player and active contributor
• Experience working on Interior Design projects is considered an asset
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
