Job description / Role
My client is a joint venture organisation of leading construction companies working on a major section of the Riyadh Metro development in Saudi Arabia. They are currently looking for an architectural design manager from a contractor background to lead a team of up to 15 architects working on designs for 8 metro stations (4 underground and 4 elevated) The role will include health and safety management, managing the schedule to ensure work is completed on time, budget and quality control.
Requirements
Candidates should have a degree and must have experience of design management on major civil or building projects. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience of metro projects (or have worked on 3 separate metro projects) and have experience of managing projects with a value of at least $200 million. Candidates must have contractor side experience and will have preferably worked in the GCC region.
