Job description / Role
Working for the Middle East franchise partner managing some of the regions leading fashion brands including men's & women's targeting the fashion forward 20-30's customers. They are now expanding and seeking to hire an experienced Area Manager to assist in both new & existing brand development and growth within the GCC region.
Job Description:
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for leading the sales & profitability of your brands stores throughout the UAE.
In conjunction with the Brand Manager you will plan the annual budget per store within the brand.
Overall responsibility for sales, profit, stock loss, expenses & wages.
Work in line with the International Principal partner on new season merchandise marketing/promotional material.
Provide effective leadership to your store operations team.
Evaluate local market competition and analyse pricing strategies/markdowns etc.
Provide guidance to your team on visual merchandise/brand integrity.
Requirements
Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years retail experience preferably in High Street Fashion with a minimum of 1 years Multi-Site/Area Management or large flagship store.
Proven ability to manage a retail budget, sales versus targets and high achievement of results against forecasts.
Strong people management, training, recruitment and performance management skills.
The right attitude, strong people skills with the ability to lead and motivate your team to over achieve goals.
Ability to travel regularly within the Gulf and overseas as required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
