We are seeking a dynamic business development professional to join our team within the Middle East Region.

The Area Manager GCC South is responsible for sales profitability, customer relations and business growth within the GCC South area. To provide operational support to existing clients and contracts, primarily in a project management role, fully complying with the client delivery schedule, ensuring that functional and technical requirements are met in full whilst meeting the project financial margin target throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Financial Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the development of revenue stream and profitability in assigned area including local P& L management. To provide regular forecasts and monitor against plan ensuring relevant systems are accurate and used for financial forecasts and client relationship management. Responsible for the process of bid submission to deal closure. Responsible for A/R and DSO within area of responsibility.

Key Activities

• To develop the business with strong financial contribution across full product portfolio.
• Attain multi-year multi-product tenders and operational/client management of same.
• Assist Sales personnel with repeat order business and client management.
• Coordination of product promotion via seminars, clients presentations, technical forums and conferences.
• Strategic marketing and provision of market intelligence.
• Increase financial performance through increasing market share and entry into new market with existing and developing product portfolio.
• Increase Tendeka Brand awareness in Area.
• Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
• Ensure compliance with local Operating Management System (OMS) .
• Coordinate design requirements through Product Line to ensure the correct feasibility of all quotations and attainment of customer requirements.
• Prepare supporting technical documentation (in collaboration with engineering centres and project engineers where necessary) for all aspects of surface equipment including operation manuals, hook-up drawings, system diagrams, installation and commissioning procedures, work packages, configuration records etc.
• Ensure all installations and projects meet Tendeka’s financial targets (that gross margin levels are achieved) and that all projects are sufficiently documented and comply with Tendeka’s Quality Management system

Requirements

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• Must have welltest, wireline and reservoir knowledge/experience.
• Demonstrate a strong technical sales track record through repeat business and large sale tender driven business.
• Show a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Willing to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
• Demonstrate proven leadership skills and an ability to drive sales and sales teams.
• Demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure to meet client delivery expectations.
• Demonstrate good communication skills with an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of the job role and have a desire to build and maintain high level of professional relationships with clients.
