Area Manager – Projects - Lighting
AED 18,000 – 25,000 + bonus

Morgan McKinely is looking for an Area Manager – Projects for our clients Lighting Division. Our client is a well established global brand that is globally recognized as a leader in their industry.

This is an ideal role for someone who has worked in fit-out within the hospitality industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Research on projects within the territory and decision makers/influencers for projects in and outside the territory
• Responsibility for ensuring the clients products are specified in projects
• Participate or organize events in which the clients products are promoted
• Support and after sales service for projects
• Create, develop and manage systematically and pro-actively effective business relationships with accounts to achieve sales goals and develop long term partnerships with them
• Travel throughout assigned territory to visit regular and prospective accounts to increase product awareness
• On regular basis, report and comment on research activities
• Prepare market plans and budgets as well as key account plans
• Ensure that customers’ data is maintained in respective systems
• Constant maintenance of the brands & company image
• Manage different product lines and support different retail strategies for each of them
• Work on specifications for projects that will be executed in other regions outside own territory
• Thoroughly understand a variety of products that can be used in project business

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills and a sales-driven business attitude with strong presentation skills
• A creative mind, strategic thinker, self-motivated, self-starter, mature, well organized
• University degree preferably in Architecture/ Interior design with a diploma in business
• Relevant commercial/marketing training
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project business the Middle East Market having contacts to decision makers in projects
• Flexibility to travel
• Perfect English (spoken & written) Arabic/ French/ German is an added advantage
