Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

• Implement & maintain productivity, quality control, and customer-service standards & procedures

• Maintain communication between the branch and management by preparing daily, weekly, and month-end reports regarding performance, operations and productivity

• Communicate job expectations with the employees and enforce company’s policies and procedures

• Work closely with the Projects Control Manager & the DGM to plan the project’s requirements, prepare budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions

• Schedule, supervise, and motivate branch staff in an effort to maintain optimal member service satisfaction levels

• Monitor client representatives to ensure guidelines are maintained

• Participate in the bidding process including project costing and planning with the HR, Finance & PSC units

• Providing outstanding customer service, representing the branch on meetings and taking care of escalated client concerns

• Complete and submit in a timely manner all necessary paperwork regarding personnel, accounting, accounts payable, etc

• Maintain contact and friendly relationships with customers and suppliers, building a favorable company image. Resolve problems and complaints as they arise

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a work-related equivalent

2. A total experience of 8 years with contracting/construction companies in the GCC with a minimum of 2 years experience on a managerial level - experience within the coating & Insulation could be an advantage

3. Excellence in coating & insulation engineering problem solving with experience in risk assessment, developing advanced level analysis, understanding of earned value management, experience with value engineering as well as trending, claims, forecasting and contractor negotiations

4. Excellence experience in costing and planning

5. Demonstrated experience working with E.P.C. suppliers

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP - Oracle

7. Results oriented and have high business expertise

8. Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development
