Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Salary: AED 14,000 - 18,000 (Per Month)

This commercially successful and popular fashion retailer are seeking a progressive Area Manager for their high profile stores across the UAE.

Priding themselves on like-for-like growth over the past five years, this retailer has received prestigious praise for both their collections and their award winning staff training and development schemes.

Area Managers with this retailer enjoy a balance between support and autonomy, with the use of initiative always encouraged and access to upper management always available. Responsibilities:
- Exceed sales targets, manage financial performance of stores and ensure customer service is to company expectation.
- Plan strategies; identify new opportunities for business development and marketing for each store.
- Recruit management, coach, develop and conduct performance reviews in line with company guidelines. Identify areas for succession planning and ensure management have plans in place for internal progression.
- Ensure operational standards are maintained and health and safety procedures are complied with.

Requirements

- The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and 'people' skills.
- A strong commitment to customer service.
- Ability to understand and adapt to change.
- Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility.
- The ability to understand and analyse sales figures.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Previous multi-site retail experience (ideally from a fashion background).
