Job description / Role
To manage the OME team and ensure that the assigned work area meets production plans in compliance with YASREF strategies and operational priorities (profit, safety, reliability, and environmental requirements.
Leadership Responsibilities:
i. Participate in identifying and executing improvement opportunities and action plans based on actual performance.
ii. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by all direct reports. Manage the budget allocation for the Section on an on-going basis.
iii. Perform periodic performance appraisals for direct reports
iv. Ensure the performance of various assigned responsibilities and the conduct of the staff is in accordance with YASREFs policies and procedures.
v. Optimize the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned responsibilities and ensure timely completion according to set standards.
vi. Identify the competencies and knowledge required for direct reports to perform their assigned responsibilities, and develop appropriate training plans to enhance performance.
vii. Implement relevant business and operating plan objectives and control the Section/Unit budget.
viii. Cascade YASREFs operational priorities including profitability, reliability, safety & environmental requirements to all direct reports and support them in executing the daily activities in line with these priorities
Requirements
- Sixteen (16) years for Technical Diploma or 14 years in Bachelor Degree of Refinery operational experience including 5 years in supervisory role
- Two (2) year Technical Diploma and completion of intermediate English & Leadership courses or Engineering Bachelor Degree
