Job description / Role
Working for a worldwide Pump/Compressor manufacturer you will require experience of Business Development / Sales from within the PUMP industry to be considered for this role, which is based Saudi Arabia.
The main function of this role is to generate proposal activity with the depth to meet and exceed the immediate and future years’ budget expectations. Moving through the sales process this position is responsible for closing orders to meet the budgeted order expectations through working with Channel Partners, EPC’s and directly with end users selling products (pumps and compressors).
This position provides technical and commercial support to our client’s Channel Partners and key accounts across the territory, in the office and in the field.
The role is required to work closely with customers building relationships through understanding customer requirements and offering value added solutions. To act as a liaison between the customer and other departments within the different business units from order placement to delivery.
Requirements
You should have the following:
• Proven Sales / Business Development experience from within the Pump industry, with excellent knowledge of the market - essential
• A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Previous experience of oil and gas and/or chemical processing industry
• Experienced in application support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – fluent English is essential
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Good presentation skills
• Good knowledge of commercial negotiations
• A driven, enthusiastic and flexible approach
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Customer focussed
• A strong and confident presence in front of the customer
