The RoleThe RoleOur client is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Korea, to be based in Seoul. Previous extensive experience in the pump industry is essential for this role, as is an engineering degree, excellent language skills including English. Good contacts within the oil and gas industry in the above-mentioned countries are required. The main function of this role is to generate proposal activity with the depth to meet and exceed the immediate and future years’ budget expectations. Moving through the sales process this position is responsible for closing orders to meet the budgeted order expectations. This position provides technical and commercial support to the partners and key accounts across the territory, in the office and in the field. The role is required to work closely with customers building relationships through understanding customer requirements and offering value added solutions. To act as a liaison between the customer and other departments within the business from order placement to delivery. |
RequirementsRequirements• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering • Previous experience of oil and gas and/or chemical processing industry • Experienced in application support • Knowledge of the pump market • Strong written and verbal communication, plus presentation skills • Critical thinking and problem solving skills • Excellent English language • A driven, enthusiastic and flexible approach • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines • Customer focused |
