Salary: KD 1500 - 2000
One of the Middle Easts most established retail groups is currently looking for an Area Visual Merchandise Manager, based in their Kuwait Headquarters to head up one of their iconic brands. The ideal candidate needs to have extensive experience of VM management within a within retail, preferably fashion.
Responsibilities:
- This is a standalone role responsible for 42 stores across Kuwait and Qatar. Potential to expand across other countries within the GCC.
- The Area Visual Merchandise Manager will be able to be creative and execute visuals, there are no restraints by the host brand like some other brands.
- There are 4 key events a year where they work with marketing.
- This person needs to be creative, be strategic and be able to plan.
- They need to understand how visuals impact the commercials / sales of the business.
- The expectation is they will start to introduce visuals into markets with the first being Kuwait and Qatar.
- The Area Visual Merchandise Manager will train the current store managers and AMs on visuals.
- They will also deal with any new store openings and sign off store layouts.
Requirements
- They need to be an expert in their own field, have excellent communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of someone who can manage multi-markets.
- Ideally want somebody who is responsible for at least 10 stores currently and should already be an area manager for 3 4 years.
- Somebody from a well-known beauty or fashion brand is ideal.
- Would look at local or international profiles, Arabic is a bonus.
