The Role


The Role

The role of the AIM Principal Consultant is to fulfill the day-to-day technical supervision, business development and execution of a wide range of asset integrity management services for clients throughout the Middle East – new development projects or operational assets.

Responsibilities include:

• Contract related:
o Project manage, supervise and execute AIM project scope – as appropriate – for clients throughout the Middle East; in but not limited to the following service areas;
 Asset integrity management policy, strategy, framework
 Auditing compliance with asset integrity standards and/or corporate policy/procedures
 Risk Based Inspection
 Fitness for service
 Inspection data management
 Anomaly management
 Reliability analysis and RCM
 Maintenance management systems, strategies and procedures
o Maintain systems, tools and processes to deliver the required AIM activities
o Plan, supervise and manage the activities of assigned staff
o Coordinate with the ABSG senior management regarding scheduling of resources, manning requirements, etc

• Corporate related
o Assist in business development activities; tendering, pre-qualification, etc
o Assist in the development and enhancement of corporate and contract-specific execution processes, tools and systems
o Assist in the in-house training and development of junior staff

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

The AIM Principal Consultant will require the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry including a minimum of 5 years in supervisory positions.
• Familiar with integrity assurance related codes, standards and legislation associated with international companies and legislative regimes.
• Familiar (5-10 years execution experience) with the majority of AIM services areas listed above
• Engineering degree
