Job description / Role
Cobalt has been exclusively instructed to recruit an Asset Manager to join a
Government owned holding company with a number of subsidiaries including real estate and investment. Based in Abu Dhabi although our client has a strong presence throughout the Middle East, US and UK this client side organisation has a growing portfolio of assets which include retail, hospitality, residential, office and mix use.
Our client is recruiting an Asset Manager to join its team; a new role within the organisation, the successful Asset Manager will work closely with the Financial Controller and COO.
You will be responsible for:
• Participating in leasing, budgeting, capital forecasting and trending
• Lease analysis including updating and maintaining lease and sales comparable for all assets utilising multiple information services to industry sources
• Evaluating and assisting in the dispositions process
• Creating and implementing strategies to maximize value and yield
• Assisting in developing and ongoing production of internal quarterly performance reviews on the market
• Interacting with the market and utilising market research to understand current real estate market conditions
• Assisting with the acquisition of new real estate
• Business development
Requirements
The successful asset manager will be well versed managing a varied portfolio and will be experienced in creating and implementing strategies.
GCC experience is essential and the ability to speak Arabic is beneficial however not essential.
Our client is paying between AED 30,000 and AED 45,000 per month + a performance related bonus and other benefits.
