The RoleThe RoleBahrain Airport Company is currently recruiting for an Asset Manager to join it’s Finance Team. The role of the Asset Manager will include reviewing and developing the annual capital budget and ensuring that the capital assets of the company are properly recognised, measured and controlled. Keeping detailed records of all capital assets, whether purchased or self-constructed through the asset register. He/she must ensure that all capital assets are tagged or otherwise and made uniquely identifiable to ensure that all assets are physically verified and assessed at least once a year. The Asset Manager will be responsible for the periodic calculation of the depreciation of assets and allocate the depreciation charges against cost centres. The Asset Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of the policies and procedures with regard to assets and capital work in progress having regard to the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards, local laws and the established policies of the company. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidate should be educated to degree level and have a background in either Engineering or Accounting. The successful candidate will possess all of the above qualities and demonstrate strong analytical skills. |
