Job description / Role
The role purpose is to develop, manage and implement the Real Estate strategy in order to maximise the best returns in leasing and real estate investment.
You will be responsible for:
* Creating & implementing strategies / plans to maximise value / yield
* Financial analysis and underwriting of existing holdings, assisting with hold v sell decision making
* Assistance with property acquisitions
* Reviewing leasing proposals and transactions in relation to budgets and monthly operating reports
* Preparation of internal presentations and annual business plans, lease and sale transactions
* Meet with property managers & leasing agents and utilise market research to understand th ecurrent real estate market
* Preparation of internal portfolio performance reviews
* preparation of leasing, budgeting, capital forecasting & trend analysis reports
* Valuation of assets, with hold / sell analysis
* IRR calculations
* Redevelopment Initiatives / New Construction analysis
* Preparation of commercial real estate lease
* Preparation and maintenance of financial models
* Review and analyse legal documents and third party reports as part of the asset management and due diligence process for new acquisitions
* Preparation of market analysis reports including comparable rent and sales analysis
* Prepare monthly operating statements on all active assets and prepare trend reports for internal review
* Analyse and underwrite investment opportunities for the acquisition and development of assets
* Create cash flow models, sensitivity tables and other financial analysis to evaluate and pursue acquisition opportunities
Requirements
* Candidates need to have a minimum of 3 years experience in a financial analysis environment, ideally within real estate, you should possess strong research, analytical and problem solving skills. You must be self motivated with excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Qualified to a minimum of a Bachelors degree (finance, business or economics) you will have experience of asset management and underwriting in a real estate environment.
