Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:

* Strategic
- Prepare an annual strategic asset management plan for OCEC.
- Develop policies and procedures in relation to management of OCEC properties through a standardized asset management manual for OMRAN.
- Support development of phases with integration of Hotel 2&3and other Tourism elements as determined through concept, feasibility stage to completion.

* People
- Develop Manage, train, and motivate staff members of OCEC asset management team.
- Provide counseling to OCEC staff members on any issues that may arise.
- Set tasks and target for staff and evaluate performance.
- Develop and implement succession planning and career development metrics for all staff.

* Operational
- Provide support to the Development Team in relation to all operational matters and commercial asset considerations to be considered during the design and construction phases,
- Manage the contractual relationship with the appointed operators for the Convention Center and hotels at the development.
- Establish the Pre Opening stage plan and budget in close coordination with the operators, manage funding of same.Manage timely procurement of FF&E purchases and operating supplies & equipments with Operators.
- Ensure highest operational performance of asset.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, set reporting requirements and benchmarking.
- Lead commercial negotiations between OMRAN and external operators, tenants & concessionaires, internal service providers.
- Obtain approval for all commercial, service and management agreements.
- Identify and promote new commercial revenue and facility opportunities.
- Initiate and support cross-segment initiatives within the OCEC site and users.
- Lead commercial negotiations with site tenants and third party providers.
- Initiate and conduct weekly pre-opening co-ordination and monthly review meetings with operators to ensure optimum commercial performance and standards of service are being met.
- Deliver periodic management updates to OMRAN exec team and BOD as required.
- Keep track of industry trends in relation to Convention Centre asset management practices to ensure that OMRAN keeps pace with the market.

Requirements

- Professional qualification in hotel administration / management or relevant qualification,
- At least 10 years experience in varied executive roles of large hotel corps ideally with involvement in Convention Centres or similar large scale commercial mixed use environments, Mall etc.
- Experience in commercial negotiations and pre-opening.
- Experience in hotel and mixed use development at an executive level.
