Assistant Account Manager - Air-conditioning and Air moving Category - Panatech - Al Futtaim Elect

Al Futtaim Electronics as one of the largest business houses in the Gulf is the sole distributor for many brands such as Panasonic, Toshiba, Aftron, Sanyo in Gulf region. Some of the products range from state-of-the-art notebook computers, mobile ,digital copiers, fax machines, consumer electronics and consumer durables including projections TVs, DVD players and home appliances.

The Assistant Account Manager will be responsible for developing project sales of air-conditioning, ventilation and mechanical products (pumps) through consultants and contractors. The job holder's role will involve product spec-in of Panasonic Split AC, Ventilation systems and Pumps, lead generation and sales to contractors to achieve agreed budgeted sales, while meeting/exceeding KPI's. The job holder's role will be across UAE territory.

The incumbent will be responsible for:
* Product pre-qualification and project spec-in withElectro - Mechanical consultants and contractors as well as project managers for small and medium project segments.
* Develop strong relationships/tie-up with Consultants, contractors and Value Added re-sellers and also appoint new channel partners.
* Analyse client requirements discuss same with consultants and provide solutions to fit in Panasonic products.
* Read system drawings and perform heat load calculations, system selection and prepare specifications to assist consultants and contractors.
* Direct sales to the Corporate enterprises, B2B customers, SME and other verticals.
* Achieve and exceed agreed budgeted sales and margin, while managing the development of new and existing customer base within the appointed territory.
* Meet the KPIs as applicable from time to time.
* Ensure the outstanding collection of payments.

Requirements

* A Engineering degree / diploma in Mechanical / Electrical.
* 6 + years experience in technical sales, selling air-conditioning and ventilation solutions.
* Existing strong relationships with System Integrators, Consultants as well end users.
* Native Arabic language speaker preferred.
* Self motivated.
* Well networked with consultants, contractors and government departments.
* Proven record of business development skills - good at developing corporates, ministries, private departments of Sheikhs, Oil & Gas companies and government relations.
