Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Adecco are recruiting for a very high profile client in Abu Dhabi for an Assistant Administrator on a full time basis. Must have perfect English. Reporting to 3 Senior Managers and the Executive Director of the department.

Salary: Attractive package (base, bonus, annual home leave, full medical, schooling allowance for children)

Main Responsibilities:
- Creates, composes, and edits technical and/or administrative correspondence and documentation.
- Assists in administrative problem solving, program/project planning, development, and execution of stated goals and objectives.
- Provides and/or oversees support activities for the AFS Department such as answering telephones, assisting and resolving problems and inquiries of visitors, review and control of incoming/outgoing correspondence, and follow-up on operational commitments.
- Schedules appointments and maintains up-to-date calendars; schedules, coordinates and facilitates meetings, facilities usage, events, and/or travel arrangements, as required
- Establishes, updates, and maintains department's files, inventories, and records;
- Serves as a central point of liaison with other departments, divisions and external organizations in organizing and resolving a variety of day-to-day matters concerning assigned functions.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years experience in general administrative and/or clerical work, ideally within financial services industry.
- Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years full time training leading to diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office and other graphic and presentation software.
