Job description / Role
Salary: AED 10,000 – 13,000
A luxury watches and Jewellery Company based in the UAE is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to assist their brand managers and following up the entire merchandising process.
Responsibilities:
Follow relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner and business targets are achieved.
Ensure that all relevant guidelines, standard operating procedures and instructions agreed on with Principals are communicated to and followed by all members of the retail and sales department to achieve compliance and good feedback from Principals.
Will be assisting the Brand Managers in preparing reports.
Following up on the entire merchandising process from shipment to the arrival in the showrooms.
Assist in showroom inquiries and other requests.
Closely monitors and analyzes sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity.
Assists in developing and executing promotional initiatives to profitably increase consumption within budgeted parameters.
Assists in the identification and development of business ideas.
Works with other business unit team members to execute the plans as scheduled.
Coordinates product management and / or cost reduction projects with internal and external resources to achieve results (product development, production planning, trade promotion, sales, research, consultants and advertising agencies).
Prepares brand reports to evaluate brand performance and identify opportunities. Measures:
Brand events results & Sales figures.
Summarizes Brand Reports for the management and brand principles.
Processes the data entering for the whole division in addition to assisting on certain brands.
Follows up with suppliers and retail network to answer client enquiries forwarded from the showrooms.
Follows up on receiving shipments as scheduled.
Any other task that may help executing the job.
Requirements
The successful candidates will have:
2 to 4 years retail experience in Brand Management as a Brand Executive / Brand Coordinator / Assistant Brand Manager within the luxury / fashion brands preferably in the region.
Strong Preference for candidates with experience in Luxury watches and jewellery.
Excellent command over written and spoken English is a must; Knowledge in Arabic, French or Italian is a plus.
Team Player, Excellent Communication skills, Ability to multitask, attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Data entry.
Knowledge about shipping and logistical procedures.
Analytical skills.
