The RoleThe RoleOur Client, A leading national brand established to market and distribute petroleum products and supply a wide range of allied products and services is looking to recruit an Assistant Business Analyst - Oracle Applications for their Dubai based operations. Providing functional and technical Oracle Application 11i support to internal customers and participate in upgrade/implementation of projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: *Knowledge of business processes and best practices in any Oracle Application Module in 11i *Debug application faults reported by users or otherwise diagnosed and troubleshoot as appropriate *Coordinate with vendors as needed for on-going system support and troubleshooting *Work with end users to Design, Develop, Test various reports using SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Reports as well as Oracle Form 6i or Packages. *Programming as required to resolve business needs (Conversion, custom --procedures, packages, functions, etc. |
RequirementsRequirementsKEY ATTRIBUTES: *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. *Two years of business systems analysis, technical analysis and functional design skills *At least 2 years experience as a Developer in Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.x) and good understanding of Oracle Form and Reports (Version 6i) including triggers, procedures and functions. *Strong written and verbal communications skills *Experience in, at least one of, the following Oracle applications modules: Financials, Inventory, Purchasing, or HRMS.
