Job Requirement:

· Assist the Channel Marketing Manager to formulate marketing plans, drive and measure these programs with the objective to increase transaction and drive Volume and Market Share.

· Expand and enhance marketing relationships at customer level and act as the point of contact for customer marketing to ensure satisfaction.

· Support the sales teams in effective execution and implementation of Campaign, Branding and Promotional Activities.

Major Accountabilities:

1. Collaborate and align with Sales Managers/Supervisors to understand customer specific branding requirements.

2. Co-ordinate with procurement for all channel marketing related sourcing.

3. Facilitate for approved MPRs in co-ordination with commercial finance.

4. Analyse sales and research data to identify growth drivers and translate them into strategy and actionable plans.

5. Conduct routine market visits to evaluate execution and study Competitor’s activities and market trends.

6. Assist sales to provide customers with appropriate artworks for branding, promotions and POSMs. Work on Design Machine. Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to.

7. Brief creative agency for creation and adaptation of artworks.

8. Attend meetings with customers along with sales to understand and discuss the marketing terms of agreements when required.

9. Monitor JMB expenses on marketing support for contractual customers and submit reports on compliance.

10. Collaborate with Sales Teams to decide on marketing plans to increase transactions and drive volume.

11. Co-ordinate with region’s warehouses for proper distribution of POSMs and premiums.

12. Work closely with sales teams to drive consumer promotions in various regions and enhance execution.

13. Plan and agree with Sales Teams on promotional calendar for top customers.

14. Assist the Channel Marketing Manager in all marketing planning activities.

Requirements

Graduate preferably with a major in Business, Economics or Commerce. Good in MS Office

Experience

3 – 5 years in Sales in a supervisory role or as a Marketing co-ordinator in a FMCG or Consumer Goods industry where he/she has had exposure to dealing with consumers and retailers.

* Negotiation: should have demonstrated good negotiation skills in dealing with retailers/customers
* Communication: should have good communication skills at various levels. Will need to deal with sales team as well as with senior managers.
* Assertive: Should be capable of engaging in healthy debate, challenge and know where to draw the line.
* Numerical/Analytical: should love to work with numbers. Analyse research reports, interpret data and translate into sound business development plans.
* Behavioural: Try to understand motives and behaviour that drives others’ decision making.
* Organised: should be systematic in work and on top of several things at a time. Should be multi-task oriented.
