Assistant Commercial Manager

Job description / Role

Move One is seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager to join its Global Energy & Infrastructure Project Logistics Commercial Team. We pride ourselves with 19 years of experience in providing logistics and supply-chain solutions in combat and emerging markets, by means of becoming preferred service provider for structuring end-to-end turn-key solutions.

The successful candidates responsibilities will include;

1.Structuring logistics solutions for Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Contractors, Engineering-Procurement-Contracting (EPC) Contractors, Offshore and Onshore Engineering Contractors, Infrastructure Construction Contractors in Middle East, North & East Africa and Central Asia;

2.Commercial Solutions:
- Standardize rates for supply of special equipments for heavy-lift, out-of-gauge material from key points of entry in identified markets to identified zones ME and Levant Countries;

3.Opportunity Mapping:
- mapping of Project Sites in identified markets;
- enlisting possible/awarded Contractors;
- preparing door-door solutions from point(s) of entry / transshipment point to identified Site(s);
- market assessment via vendor technical and commercial evaluation basis product specific criteria;
- preparation of presentation describing developed market capabilities, vendor assessment criteria, inventory of Subcontractor(s) assets available for Project Execution;
- Develop method statements for solutions from pre-alert phase through submission of KPI assessment as part of documented project fulfillment process;

4.Update cost assessments for multi-country brokerage, handling and transportation solutions for OCTG and related accessories on a regular basis;

5.Assist in Training, management and reporting performance of Tender and Pricing Team for Central Asia, North & East Africa and Middle East;

6.Act as the link between clients and account manager / operations to align client requirements and team capabilities;

7.Develop client database to assist Account Development process by means of market intelligence and client meetings.

8.Construct vendor database for identified markets basis commercial and technical evaluation criteria developed for specific project requirements;

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess;

- 4-5 years experience in Project Logistics;
- Experience in Commercial capacity whilst covering MEA and Far East Asia Regions;
- Excellent Korean (reading and writing)
- Experience with OCTG
- Vast freight vocabulary
- Numerically Astute
- Detail orientated
