Job description / Role
We are currently looking for an Arabic speaking experienced senior engineer to join the team and develop the client on our prestigious infrastructure project in Qatar.
The third party consultant will support the Stakeholders Delivery P.M. with on-site field Design/Construction management activities associated with the technical submittals of construction package(s) and support the performance of the construction team to confirm compliance with Local Authority Codes and Standards.
To thrive in this role you must have a comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, communication skills and knowledge of Local Authority Codes and Standards and help develop options to resolve and review/authority approval of the daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must hold a 4-year BSc in Civil Engineering or related technical field and have 12 years of related work experience providing construction and project management services and experience in the construction of large civil/structural projects. Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, good written and excellent oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required.
In addition, must be knowledgeable of current Authorities Codes and Standards, technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
