Assistant Construction Manager - Marine

Job description / Role

We are currently looking for a Assistant Construction Manager -Marine with excellent dredging experience to join our multi-billion dollar project in Doha, Qatar

You will assist in on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of assigned construction package(s).

Assist in the monitoring of the performance of the construction supervision team to confirm compliance with contractual requirements.

Applies a comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation; contractual obligations and technical aspects of all items to be constructed.

Supports the Construction Manager in the management of construction projects to monitor on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations; and monitors risks/problems and helps develop options to resolve.

Works with the various consultants and contractors to assist in managing and overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in related role
Must have a minimum of 12 years experience of construction and project management, alternately 20 years construction related experience and continued career development.

Experience in marine works, beaches, coastal works, dredging.
